Restoration of the Little Cuyahoga River

As the Prime Contractor for this firm fixed price project, RiverReach was responsible for self-performing the restoration and stabilization of the Little Cuyahoga River in the reach that was impacted by the installation of the Ohio Canal Interceptor Tunnel Project.

Bank Stabilization

Tunnel outlet structure design and installation created forces that were displacing rock protection during large storm events. Stabilization was achieved by utilizing specially sized stone and placement so that compressive strength of water flow would not displace stones.
